A trail of dust chases me, but like everything else I leave it behind
The path ahead is so blurred I have become blind
Shapes pull away and become nothing more than colored streaks of light
Blackness behind me so I’ll just drive towards the light
The finish line always moves farther and farther away
But with this new ride there’s no doubt in my mind that today will be the day
I will finish this now
I will see it through to the end
Whatever that means- whatever that brings
Lightning couldn’t catch me
Nothing matters if I’m energy
The shattering
Glass shards float in slow motion
I catch my own reflection
Blood bursts out from my veins
Torrents backwards like rain
Finally I have finished the race
Reached an unfathomable pace
The earth melts away into mist
I am here but I do not exist
I have escaped, I have escaped
Finally I have finished the race
W-Wag takes us back to 2008 where the music was all garbage, but the scene was fecking great. Except this is a very fun EP and the most intensely Nintendocore thing that Michael has ever released. Anybody who whined about the atmospheric and music-y qualities of Twenty Years of Snow might want to apologize, say their prayers, and eat their vitamins. Arjax
